Abstract

The aim of this research was to evaluate the agronomic behavior and the incidence and severity of late leaf spot in peanut genotypes, carried out in field without fungicides to chemical control, during three growing seasons and three different sites in Sao Paulo state. The randomized complete blocks experimental design was used with three replications to compare thirteen lines and three peanut cultivars (IAC Caiapó, IAC OL3 e IAC Sempre Verde). Evaluations were done to determine: pod yield, kernel yield, percentage of kernels after unshelled, biomass of two hundred kernels, as well as late leaf spot in field. It was verified that high oleic peanut genotypes have presented a level of late leaf spot resistance similar to pattern genotype IAC Sempre Verde, specially to lines 17-12, 17-9, 17-22 e 17-20, which have showed the best combinations of foliar disease resistance, yield and quality of kernels..
