This research examines how the combination of social networks and artificial intelligence contributes to the creation and reconfiguration of business models in the digital economy. It is a qualitative, exploratory, and bibliographic study that integrates insights regarding platforms, data, algorithms, and social interaction to understand their effects on value creation, delivery, and capture processes. The analysis indicates that these technologies have evolved beyond mere support resources to become sociotechnical infrastructures capable of mediating economic relationships, organizing information, and influencing contemporary forms of coordination. Consequently, business arrangements based on connectivity, personalization, recommendation, data monetization, and platform-based interaction are emerging. The study concludes that the convergence of social networks and artificial intelligence alters not only business tools but also the conditions under which organizations interact with markets, consumers, and other actors in the digital economy.
